Studio Projects Week of Jan 11th + I've moved!!

Here's some sneek peaks at a current project commissioned by a local San Diegan, An Octopus and Koi in a Rock Garden...
After doing some research on Octopus and Rock Gardens, I went ahead and started doing some rough sketches before I proceeded to create the full sized drawing - 2 x 19" x 24" Bristol Boards.  Next week you can view the colored finished version.

Also this week, San Diego CityBeat Magazine used my Angel piece for the cover of Wed. Jan 13, 2010












Also this week was a custom painted plaster Ryukin Goldfish from one of Bob Watts castings of my goldfish piece.  It was the first one that I custom painted, this customer purchased it for his wife's b-day gift!!!

    ryukin goldfish is a hardy and attractive variety of goldfish with a pointed head and has a pronounced hump on the back behind the head.
